The Environment Agency is part of Defra, (UK Government Department). We support the Defra Group Business Plan for 2017-18 to 2019-20, Creating a great place for living. Our Action Plan sets out our 3 main objectives for what we want to achieve: a cleaner, healthier environment which benefits people and the economy a nation better protected against natural threats and hazards, with strong response and recovery capabilities higher visibility, stronger partnerships and local choices
