Nomination for het Zonnetje
Polder2C’s and NSCiti2S, both funded by Interreg 2 Seas, have been nominated by the National Delta Programme for a Dutch prize, het Zonnetje. This prize is awarded to an appealing project, a shining example of an effective, innovative and promising realisation of the Dutch national Delta Programme.
Polder2C’s is an international project where water safety, emergency response, flood defence and knowledge transfer meet. A total of 13 partners and over 30 observer partners from the Netherlands, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom work on a more climate adaptive region.
NSCiti2S brings together 11 partners and promotes investments of green infrastructure in urban areas, by showing how local authorities can acquire direct and ‘cash’ benefits as a result of their green infrastructure investment. The project is closely followed by 15 observer partners.
