PACE: a new childcare centre to open in Turnhout

The last of three childcare centres developed under the PACE project will open on 31st October in Turnhout.

The objective of the PACE project is to provide flexible and affordable childcare services to vulnerable families whilst also supporting parents find routes towards employment. To answer the lack of affordable childcare in some local communities, one of the aims of the project was to refurbish three buildings into childcare facilities where the parents could benefit from training and volunteering opportunities, employment support and social involvement.

After 38 Volt in Mechelen, De Werkplaats in The Hague, it is now Het Lindeke in Turnhout which will be launched on 31st October.
