An open knowledge center in the heart of the city of Roeselare, Belgium, ARhus focuses on literacy in the broad sense of the word (health, media, cultural, political etc.) ARhus aspires to connect, innovate and stimulate entrepreneurship. We are widely used by all layers of the population and accepted as a neutral and inclusive meeting ground. ARhus is strongly connected with several important stakeholders in the region, such as the hospital AZ Delta and a whole range of companies. Educational partners are important for us as well. We have recently developed a new format of collaboration with schools. Our goal is to activate projects between schools and other partners from our vast network in order to facilitate new forms of learning.
