Overview

Faubourg Numérique is an incubator of innovating projects in the sector of Internet of Things & Services. Faubourg Numérique’s Living Lab is a non-profit association, created by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs and aims at redesigning a collaborative organisation and making it concrete in order to introduce new processes of prototyping and production in Internet of Things projects. The focus of Faubourg Numérique lies on the development of connected things & services in 3 vertical domains: Industry 4.0, precision agriculture, smart cities. Our strengths lies in creating ecosystems (startups, SMEs, companies, university, students, organisations, local governments...) around these themes and animating it (workshops, events, hackathons, ...). Faubourg Numérique is also strongly involved in various european initiatives like Iot-EPI, iHub.eu, Open & Agile Smart Cities and European Network of Living Labs. FIWARE IoT architecture is a speciality at Faubourg Numérique, but beside this strong involvement in the FIWARE community, Faubourg is also working actively to animate the local developers community and entrepreneurs, with the support of big tech companies (like Google, Salesforce, Intel, Orange,…).
