PACE kicks off

PACE is an Interreg 2 Seas project under Specific Objective “Social innovation”. The aim of the project is to help unemployed parents into work by improving access to childcare. The project is exploring ways to use childcare to support parents in learning, volunteering and employment opportunities. Pace brings together 12 partners from The Netherlands, France, England and Flanders. The project means an important step in improving the lives of families in Europe.

The project kicks off with a one-day-event on Monday 20 February at the Artevelde University College in Ghent (BE). The event programme features presentations and interactive workshops hosted by the project partners.

Participation is free of charge. Registration is open until the end of January.
