Survey: Perinatal mental health

Are you an expectant parent or did you become a mum or dad last year?

The partners of the project PATH would like to invite you to take part in a research study exploring peoples’ understanding and attitudes towards perinatal mental illnesses (PMI) such as postnatal depression and anxiety. You don’t have to have experienced PMI to take part in this study.

PMI can affect both men and women and sometimes these needs aren’t accurately understood or recognised. In response to this, the project partners are developing a multimedia campaign which aims to share information about PMI across 4 different countries: England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. In this survey, we would like to get a current peoples’ understanding, attitudes and experiences of PMI in England. In light of the current pandemic, we have also included questions which aim to assess the potential differential impact of COVID-19 on the physical, mental and behavioural wellbeing of parents and partners.

Your participation is entirely voluntary. You can stop the survey at any time without giving a reason. Completing the entire survey will take approximately 15 minutes.
