European Master programme "BioPham”

The European Master programme "BioPham (BIO&PHArmaceutical Materials science)" is a two-year programme entirely taught in English and jointly operated by the University of Lille (France), the University of Pisa (Italy), the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland) and the Polytechnic University of Catalunya in Barcelona (Spain). BioPham aims at the emerging new discipline of “pharmaceutical materials science” by offering a very rich education and training programme at the interface between physics/chemistry of materials and pharmaceutical sciences.

BioPham has been granted in July 2020 and has highly benefited from the network of the Interreg 2 Seas “Innovative MulticOmponent Drug dEsign for enhancing regional strategic advantages in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications (IMODE)” project (http://www.project-imode.eu).

Our Master helps reducing the severe lack of human resources in the vast research-based pharmaceutical sector including academic centres, big pharma, SME’s, spin‐offs, start‐ups, contract research organizations or drug manufacturers. To achieve this, we have a plethora of academic and industrial associated partners offering our students field internship opportunities, such as Interreg 2 Seas IMODE partners (University of Lille, University College London, University of Ghent, University of East-Anglia, University of Greenwich, CUBIC PHARMACEUTICALS Ltd and ROQUETTE).

The application period to be part of Master BioPham in September 2022 has been set from November 8, 2021 to February 18, 2022 - 23:59 Brussels' time.
