Last Tuesday, on European Cooperation Day, some 200 members of the 2 Seas community joined the Virtual Voyage to celebrate a series of excellent benefits of cross-border cooperation.
Under the lead of captain Wim De Vilder, the group of digital tourists discovered 18 project stories in different corners of the 2 Seas area. In addition, key members of the community shared their thoughts on the project stories and stressed the added value of working across borders to find joint solutions to common challenges.
The Virtual Voyage survey results show that participants have been very satisfied with the format and the rhythm of the event and the variety in project results that have been presented. Here is a selection of feedback received from the virtual travellers.
“Time efficiency. Good overview of the 2 Seas realisations in one and a half hour.”
“The digital presentation was structured, smooth and concise.”
“Wim was a perfect host! Also, perfect timing, quality, diversity of projects.”
We have also received helpful reactions from participants that wish to interact more with the people representing the selected projects. This is certainly something which we will consider for future events, especially looking at opportunities to meet each other again at physical events.
