ENDURE seeks mapping solution for dune management

ENDURE, an Interreg 2 Seas funded project, aims to improve adaptation capacity to climate change by focusing on sand dunes in the 2 Seas area. In order to visualise the benefits of different dune management approaches (hard engineering vs. ecosystem-based), Norfolk County Council, ENDURE’s lead partner has now launched a tender for the development of a new mapping solution.

With this tool coastal managers should be able to understand more easily the coastal change their measures will have. For example, how construction of a concrete sea wall vs. beach nourishment will impact an area of coastline.
