UK guarantees funding of projects approved before the end of 2020

Here is some wonderful news for the Interreg 2 Seas Programme: the UK government has recently announced the extension to the guarantee for ETC programmes. This means that Interreg 2 Seas will be able to continue approving projects until the end of the programming period!

With still 40% of the ERDF funds available, your chances of receiving co-financing from the Interreg 2 Seas Programme are still high. Note that you now have the opportunity to apply for funding, as the 7th call for proposals has been launched per 1 August. More information on this call for proposals is available here.

The following extract from the UK Government’s announcement published on 24 July, confirms the extended funding guarantee from EU programmes.

“Businesses, universities and local organisations were assured today (24 July 2018) that any funding they secure through EU programmes, from now until the end of 2020, will be guaranteed by the UK government even in a no deal scenario.”
